Thanks Ski, I figured out that my sound card and my network card were using the same irq.(windows hardware manager reported no conflicts). Once I changed the irq, it works fine. thanks for the info...- egreog

Hi All, I recently added a netgear nic and cable access to a win98 pc with a 1.2ghz celeron, 384meg ram. I went to windows update and got all the latest patches and media player 7.1. When I try to get streaming data(video or music) the pc hangs and reboots. The device manager shows no...- egreog
