Can't access Cisco Pix 501 via IE
ah ha! Well I need to sniff out that console cable. I presume it does not look like a cat 4 or 5 ethernet cable? I'll need to search a box of cables for this. Thanks MD- mpdsal

Brent, thanks for responding. I am not too familiar with the PIX firewall although it's deployed as part of my small network setup. When you say use the CLI what does that mean? Can you walk me through that briefly. Thanks Mark- mpdsal

Can't access Cisco Pix 501 via IE
I can't seem to open my Cisco firewall via the 192.168.1.1 ip address. Can't I simply go into IE and type that address to see what my firewall settings are? I have no connectivity issues. I can ping 192.168.1.1 and I can get to the internet. The firewall does appear to be working. I am running...- mpdsal
