Are you using Paradox for DOS or for Windows? I don't know about older versions but v7 and on for Windows, just use the upper command. See the ObjectPal help.

I have done this by using a form instead of a report and then printing it. But in all cases the form was one page in size, I don't know if it would work for other cases.
It is not as slick as using a report, but it may allow you to do the color stuff you want to do.
