Our Symmetrix is equipped with the following components: - 256 disks, most are 36GB, about 50 are 50GB - 12 fibre channel ports - 8 Escon ports - 14GB cache (3*4GB, 1*2GB) - manufactured in 1999 - microcode probably 5265.56.36 We intend to use it as simple RAID volumes.
