    BTW, E:\ is a recently created NTFP partition, it's empty, and has just been succesfully formatted. It's in the same physicar hard disc as the system partition (c:) thanks

    I've just installed a new W2K server on a clean computer, also installed sp4 and ie6sp1. after setting my NIC with a static ip adress (10.0.0.1) everything works OK. When I try to promote te server to a DC, I run the DCPROMO tool. When the DCPROMO wizard is about to end, and begins creating...
