Mice and other pointing devices Missing from device mgr
Thanks for responding.. No I have not uninstalled all USB entries from the devide manager. The mouse is plugged into the ps2 port. But I will try that anyhow tonight, along with the rest of your post and will report back. Thank you again- Joe!!- itcons

Hi there.. I'm trying to fix a computer that has a mouse problem. The mouse is not working and I concluded that the "Mice and other pointing devices" is not listed in the device manager. Hey Tinram..the host computer is in my home and there is a router conected to it. Now since there is a router involved, when i double click the network icon to start the host, the IP address that appears in the "status window" is going to be the private IP of the host...correct?
