    Input serial streaming data into VB 5

    I need to write a program to 'play' with some data that is continually coming in from a serial port. The data comes in in chunks of 32 hex numbers. The program I think I can manage, What I need some help with is how I go about getting this data into my program? I am running VB 5 Clues anyone?
