    Strange start-up syndrome

    I have seen this before on an AMD system and it was a combo-syndrome.The ps started failing,burning out a section of the main board,this ps eventually went nuclear and burned out dramatically.Do check for loose connections on the main board.

    Norton Ghost

    I find Ghost is an excellent drive utlity and it creates images that are perfect for backup-restoration.I save all my images on a large hdd and update them quarterly.
