It's easy enough to manually terminate the viruses/commercials in Win2k/XP or by using SysInternals Process Explorer for Win9X machines. The antivirus should be able to do it. The Norman Antivirus our shop sells can kill them with no problems. I think it's a bug in Norton's software. That or a...
Lately in Norton Antivirus 2003 and now 2004 it seems to have a problem with cleaning the viruses it finds. It scans them fine but then can't seem to kill the running process and delete/quarantine the file. Is there a setting I'm missing or is this a known issue?
