When should you retire a DLT IV tape.
I am interested in setting up a policy for replacing/retiring tapes. We do not have one at this point. The manufactors state 1 million head passes and/or 30 years. I am curious if that is the standard in use out in the market. Please let me know what you use and why. I really appreciate... -
How do you compare using "uasm -c"
I am trying to compare a backup against what it currently on the server to see what was deleted. I have read about uasm -c but cannot get it to work. Does anyone know how to use it or a way to compare a saveset to what is presently there? Thanks- jjjgas
