    How do I find out which server (nodes) TSM is counting as using a SAN license? I have 9 licenses, and 8 in use, but I can only think of 5 that are in use now. TIA Todd

    uname -S xxxxx after reboot

    Never mind.. I found a way to do it. Updating the hostname in smitty updates the uname as well, and that survives a boot. After that, I can change the hostname to what I need.

    I can't figure out how to set the uname -S name so it is preserved after a reboot. The man page for uname specifically states it is not preserved when set by "uname -S xxxx", but doesn't suggest a way to set it permanently. Where do I set this value so it is preserved? And how can I find out...
