    Win XP not recieving mail like 98?

    I had a similar problem with Outlook 2000 on windows XP connecting to exchange 5.5. My Solution: Windows firewall had been enabled on the Network Connection this was preventing broadcasts from exchange notifying of new e-mails. I just disabled windows firewall on this network connection.
