I just posted this on the PC tAblet section and it dis appeared does anyone know why? I just wanted to know if I can track my stolen laptop via its MAC address. Can Toshiba track the MAC address/serial number to its IP thus its user.

Hi Is there anyway I can track my stolen laptop via is MAC address? I am aware that there are now programs that can do that for you now but mine had no such program on it. Can the MAC address be sent to TOSHIBA and the IP address it is using be traced. Thanks

How would the PSU make the PC freeze(ie not go off) Ram is 2x 128 meg + 1 x 256 meg (3 sticks) No I have not tried a RAM replacement. The PC freezes once it is being used not only for watching movies. Will try an alternative PSU though. Thx

The main Issue is that we seem to be having dropped packets on our VOIP circuit. It was in trying to Diagnose this that I discovered the pinging issue. But routing wise all is ok.
