Since the last post, I found another twist that might bring some insight to this problem. Under safe-mode, the scanner module becomes visible when the scan is initiated. norton antivirus scanner module fails to run
I was able to use the navw32.exe for about the last two days since it was clean-installed, but since yesterday I am not able to scan anything, including a file, folder, or the directory.
