One of our admins when logging onto IE for the first time authenticated as an admin user rather than themselves. Our ISA logs therefore pick up the admin user rather than the user. How do I reset authentication for IE?
From within Citrix and IE if I click on an application link a page opens and then closes very quickly (this is not the case outside of citrix)I think it is an IE security setting that is stopping it but don't know how to fault find it. Nothing comes up in event viewer. Are there any logs that...
A file and print server at both ends with the same drivers on. Users are picking up printers from policies that have been disabled and also had the printer driver changed!!! Where else can you get printers from? There are none on the users fat client.
We have 2 sites running 4.5. On the local site we have no printer problems. On the remote site it can take ages for a user to get their network printers. We think the problem is having to come down to the local site to the SQL server to get the policies. Is it possible to have a copy of the...
We have 2 sites. Our local site maps all printers fine. Our remote site has its own file and print server but can take ages to map the printers in Citrix. A user can login and have no printers then logout, log straight back in again and all printers are then there. Where are the policies held...
Running Windows 2003 64bit and Citrix PS 4.5 Default printing is crap. Some people can change their default printer and keep it while some change it and it reverts to a random printer. All hotfixes are on. Any ideas? We have our old farm running side by side and this works fine using the same AD.
Some of my Groupwise file attachments (.rpt, .doc files) open fine if you save them to the PC and then open them but will not open through open as it wants to know which program to open it with. You can then select it and it works fine but won't do it straight off.
When I go into Printers and Faxes, File, Server Properties, Advanced I find that a lot of the options here are greyed out (all except the 2 for showing information for printers). Does anybody know what causes this?
I have found how to disable the autotray just for a single user outside of citrix (HKCU\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer\enableautotray=1) but cannot do it for all users inside citrix. Any way of forcing this for all users (using windows 2003). Thanks
Has anyone installed 2 versions of Office on a Citrix platform successfully? Administrator works fine but as a user one of them will always say it is not configured correctly (first one installed)and then when you click on close, it loads fine!!
I've had a VB .NET menu written for me but now I want to run it before XP asks for a username and password (in Windows 95 the .exe file was added to the system.ini and executed with shell=c:\menu.exe). XP doesn't allow for this. Anybody have any ideas?
Using the web we can get remote access to our Citrix servers from home. At the moment it is for all users. On one hand I'm told that I cannot be restrictive about who gets access but surely you can set a web publishing rule to say who in Active Directory gets access.
I have 3 versions of Word on my terminal servers running windows 2000 and want to set word 2000 as the default version for opening .doc files. I know you can use winword /r but this sets the default to word 97. Is there the same thing for Word 2000? have tried using file association to do this...
