    I had the same problem. Turned out to be a DNS issue. If you try to replicate the AD you probably get RPC unavailable errors, correct? You need to make sure that you only have one entry for each server in Active Directory Sites and Services -> Sites -> Site name -> Servers -> NTDS Settings...
