    I have uninstalled a SCSI Yamaha CD writer and replaced it with an IDE writer. Since doing this i now get thr following message: exception has ocurred at 0028:3E500C1 in VXD This was called from 0028:C1828958 in VXD SCSI 1 HLP(03) + 0000508 Can anyone help PLEASE ?????

    Windows explorer slow to open

    My pc's are networked and i do have mapped drives. I can't say that my slower machine has mapped drives but i will disconnect them to see if that is causing the delay. Also i sometimes have a cd in my drive. Thanks very much for your time and help and i will let you know how i get on Thanks...
