I did, but not sure if I'm going about it correctly. [tbl_formname].[dues] in the "update to" cell - when I run the query, it clears out the fields (no, I didn't select a delete query).
Thanks for any help....
Can the "Update To" cell be defined by user input from a form? I have 30 records in tblmembers where I would like to be able to update the "dues" field on all records from an update query that runs and is defined from a form -
Thank you-
I have a form with three fields - [begintime], [endtime],and an unbound [totaltime]. I am trying to use DateDiff to give me a total in hh:nn format but it doesn't seem to recognize the dates. In other words, I'm OK until 23:59 total time. My formatting is 99/99/00" "00:00;0;_
Does anyone have...
I'm drawing a blank for what I'm sure is an easy solution -
I have a report where each record has 5 fields labeled "med1" through "med5". These 5 fields may/may not contain the name of a medication. All I want to do is display a total count of entries in the report footer for all meds entered...
I can't seem to find an answer in the forum yet - I have a form where a vehicle number is selected from a combo-box and then a current mileage is added in the next field. Is there a simple way to compare the mileage added to the previous mileage entered to make sure the new number makes logical...

Thanks for the replies -
I was successful with union query but am still unsure about the "Where" clause for this. Ultimately, I would like to enter the "control number" on a form which then populates the form with the selected record. I understand the "Where"...
I have a co-worker who wants to query two tables using a unique control number as criteria. These tables are identical(one is an archive)in structure and have thousands of records each. Could someone please help me with a way to search both tables for a record?
Thanks,
David
Thanks Roy - I think that will be the solution. I thought about the AddNewRecord option but thought it might keep adding blank records every time a user searched for a record - but thats not the case since there will be no data added. Thanks for the help. David
I know that this has been a subject here before, but I could not find a solution applicable to me - I have a DB where 1 person enters records. I then have users on a network who are linked to the table. The form gets its record from a single combo box entry - easy enough. Because the...
