    I tried CHS again, and it was not possible to alter the settings. I finally found an e-mail address for tech support at DFI and sent them the same message. No response yet. bmwnut

    Thanks, Skip. I'll try it in the AM, too tired tonight to do any more hd switching. It's now on the old MB with all connections to that case. Thanks again, bmwnut

    I bought a new MB, DFI NFII 400-AL, with AMD 2500+ and installed my old 80 gig HD, which bios recognizes, but which cannot be accessed. The CYL, HD, & SECT readings are not the same as in my old MB. Re-installed on the old MB and it works fine. Istalled an older HD with W98 and worked fine...
