I'm tring to install the DBD-ORACLE using ppm with activeperl5.8.2 and i'm getting "Error: no suitable installation target found for package DBD-ORACLE" does anyone know of any repository where i can get his package, i've already tried activestate repository. Any help would be appreciated.

Now when i type perl example.pl it says " cannot open perl script no such file or direcory".

I tried ur string and then Perl would not load at all, i have another question when i go to "start/programs/activeperl5.8" all i see is OLE Browser, Perl Package Manager, Documentaton. Is that all that should be installed.

when i type set path a the comand prompt it say "C:\Perl\bin\;C:\WINDOWS\system32;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared" is all that suppose to be there or should i delete everything but the perl directory.
