I print a weekly newspaper using InDesign CS5 and a Kyocera FS-8500DN. Before InDesign had the ability to booklet print, I would export the appropriate pages to Adobe, then print them 2 up, flip the pages over, and print the other side. I set up my layout so that one side of the 11x17 page is...

Photoshop CS3, volume license, legitimate purchase
I cannot install. It keeps telling me I have to activate and the grace period has expired. Adobe tells me a volume license doesn't require activation.
I have tried the CS3clean script, coupled with the windows clean...
Well, I tried the .inx solution, but to no avail. In fact, when I tried to open the file it crashed InDesign on the first two efforts. It took a long time to try to open it, and then it was trying to recover, saying it couldn't.
Do you think I might need to re-install ID?
Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow. Today was my publishing day so I didn't have time for any experimenting. This is the only printer I have, and it's a problem that grew over time.
Again, I really appreciate all your suggestions. It's nice to have a focus instead of grasping at straws.
I tried the flattening suggestion and had the same error. What's interesting is that when I ran the preflight I replaced the fonts that were missing, but they're still listed as the 'problem'.
I also noticed in the preflight that 21 of my embedded objects use RGB color space, but I've opted to...

Xerox Docucolor 3535
I produce a weekly newspaper, printed on 11x17, landscape, duplexed.
Some time ago I started having printing problems. I have a lot of fonts installed, so I started using a font manager, but that didn't solve the problem. I've done a pre-flight...
I'm having a problem printing from Indesign (Windows). It says either that it's out of memory or that there's a problem with a font. Neither is true... I export to PDFs to 'impose', but the exported files are sometimes faulty, too.
This problem just started about three weeks ago and I'm...
Someone gave me a copy of Pagemaker. There's nothing wrong with it. I only mentioned that because I suspected the answer would be to upgrade to InDesign, instead of a more useful answer.
I'm using PM7 and I print with a Xerox Docucolor 2240.
Because PM prints so slowly, I convert pages to PDF (using the Export feature), then print the PDF.
However, any black that is generated by PM prints in a dark grey (imported graphics retain their blackness). Also, some jpgs lose their...
While exporting from PM7 to a pdf, the PM file crashed. I can't open it now. I didn't remember to try opening the .tmp file before I rebooted.
I've been up all night. This is a weekly newspaper that is supposed to be in the subscribers mailboxes at 9 a.m.
Is there anything new on this...
