Have you tryed to update Winamp or any other audio app you use? This might also fix it. That does sound a little weird. About how long ago did you update?

Well the links did not help me since I don't want to make an image of the hard drive but actually move data from one hard drive to another. Any other suggestions? Any are welcome.
I'd say buy a cheap sound card and disable the onboard audio controller and it should run fine. But a Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 card. They are like $40/US new and you should have no problem after. Also VIA has a lot of problems with onboard audio so go search their support for answers that should...
Did you make sure that you have an audio cable going from your cd rom to your sound card? If you don't then you won't be able to use your cd rom for music.
Is there any program out there that will allow me to copy everything including Windows 2000 Pro onto another hard drive while windows is running? If there isn't then can someone help me create a boot disk with CD-Rom support so I can run Norton Ghost. Thanks!
Ok I have a question about the speed. What is it's max? In my bios it says that I can set the speed to 2500 mhz and I have it set to 2000 mhz. Would setting it 2500 mhz really be called overclocking? If anyone has this CPU and has it set to 2500 mhz then please tell me if you see it safe or not...
