Hello all, we have a number of applications based on MSAccess and I've been asked to make them available from the web. They're fairly simple, most just collect and store information without much manipulation.
I haven't done much of this and wonder if anyone can recommend any tools and tips...
Hello Rick, it works great!! Thank you for your time and effort, I can't tell you how big of help you've been. Not only have your solved my problem you've taught me a bunch along the way! Your explanations are wonderful. Again, thanks!! Tony
Thanks again Terry, it didn't make any difference, I made a new form with the same results. This is driving me crazy and giving me more respect for the db guys. Got any more ideas? Thanks, TB
Thanks Terry. I made the changes you suggested but didn't realize and additional functionality? The query still requires all 3 values to return a record? I've got the controsl default value set to = null and your SQL seems correct (Access didn't barf on the save)??? Any more ideas? Thanks, Tony
Hello all, I have a form that has 2 subforms. Does anyone know how to make the tab stop move on to the next subform? Right now once in the first form the tab cycles within the form and won't move onto the next form. Thanks, Tony
Hello all, a guy who knows nothing about SQL here. I built a query in Access and I would like to modify it so if one or more of the values is null it is replaced with a wild card. Following is the SQL generated by my Access query,
SELECT Asset.[Asset ID], Asset.Name, Asset.Description...
THANKS!!, it works fine. How would you go about making the query work with one of the vaules missing? Right now Access needs all three to find anything. Thanks, Tony
Hello all, new user here. What is the best way to do this, I need a form with 3 variables selected from combo boxes to launch a query. The out of the box parameter query doesn't gives you any predefined variable choices. Thanks, Tony
