Hi.
I've since had a response from the author of Redemption. He says that rules that run after a message is sent are not MAPI based, i.e. Outlook runs them explicitly and does not not provide an API that Redemption could use.
He suggested that, as a workaround, I can set the...
We use a public folder to store our company-wide contacts.
In Outlook 2003 I've set set our public folder to "Show this folder as an e-mail address book" and modified my Address book to show this list first.
However I don't seem to be able to do this in OWA.
Can anyone help?
We are using the Redemption add-in for Outlook 2003 under Exchange 2003. First impressions are that it meet our requirements. However, tests show that mail sent via Redemption is not processed by our Outlook client rules. We have a rule to copy all outbound mail to a specific folder. However...
Hi
I'm using Dmitry Streblechenko's "Redemption" Outlook add-in to allow me to automatically send mail via VBS without being bothered by the Microsoft secuirty warnings.
So far this works great - but I'm raising the stakes.
We use Zetafax for MSExchange and this allows us to send e-mails to...
Many thanks for your post - however I need to make sure that any mail sent appears in the users Sent Items folder. So I need to login to Outlook to do my stuff.
The good news is that, after a good nights sleep, I solved the problem a few minutes ago. There was nothing wrong with the code -...
Hello,
I'm trying to use a simple vbscript to send an e-mail via outlook 2003. To get around the pop-up security warning message I'm using the "Redemption" COM library.
For a few days my code seemed to work - but now I get the following error message: Could not submit the message - error...
Hello all
I need to find a way of automating the creation of an Outlook mail message (not Express) - but not send it. Instead, the mail message just needs to be displayed on-screen ready for the user. I need to be able to set the destination, subject and (most importantly) the body of the...
I have a very similar requirement - I need VBScript to create a new email (with some formatted body text already in place) and present it on screen as a new Outlook message - ready for further editing.
Can anyone assist?

Help.
Am using a pivot-table to generate a pivot graph in excel 2000. I have three series plotted against time.
One of these series is much smaller than the others - and cannot really be seen if plotted using the same y-axis as the other two.
So, I've assigned this series to the 'secondary...
Thanks for that - I've already installed the free-ware app mentioned in the suggested thread to create IE buttons.
My problem is how to define a button that prints the current web-page to a pre-defined printer (ie. not the default printer)...

My users create Acrobat PDF versions of web-pages by printing to an Acrobat PDF writing printer driver from within Internet Explorer 6.
Is there a way I can simplify this by adding a button to the IE6 toolbar that prints to this printer automatically (ie. not the default printer)?
Can anyone...

I'm setting up OutlookXP on a portable and would like it to use our network for internet access where possible and dial-up where not. I've set this up many times in Outlook Express but this version does not seem to be behaving itself.
I've told Outlook to dial whenever a network is not...
I'm setting up OutlookXP on a portable to be used in two locations - in the office and outside the office.
The former is behind our firewall and the latter is outside it.
The problem is that, for mail to work, I have to specify one POP3 address for "in the office" and another fir...

The problem has never raised it's head with win95/98 clients - regardless of Server OS (we've used both in the past few years). My problem exists with W2000/XP clients only. Can't comment whether this is the case with Netware at the back end as we have NT4.
There are no timout parameters...
