We are running Veritas 9.0 so it may help to upgrade. We do have a unix agent on the server. I am going to go ahead and try the upgrade and I will keep you posted on the results. :-D Thanks so much- spirittalker

veritas backup exec 9.0 error code a000fe30 hex
I desperately need assistance with this issue as well. The remote server is a redhat 9.0 server. We have others that have worked fine but for some reason this one is not. We have tried everything to get this backup to work but it simply will not. Any ideas anyone? Thanx in advance, Susan- spirittalker
