    Erasing flash partitions

    I have a 2503 with two 4MB flash simms, there are two partions, one say read-only, the other read/write. How can I delete these partions so I can have 8MB available for a newer IOS?

    Catalyst 1900 console not working

    I did the same thing also. You have an older 1900. I finally used the right cable and it worked. Check the cisco site for the correct pin out.

    C1924 lost management console

    I`ve been having the same problem. So when I try to upgrade the firmware I hold down the front button to get to the configuration console and it asks me for the console password. Anyone no how I can erase this password. I bought the switch used and the person doesn`t know the password. Thanks
