During the initial update install, i did have to waste the driver NEROCDNT.SYS... Then i removed the old Nero installation and reinstalled the latest Nero 6.0028. (Nero also cannot find the drive). NEROCDNT is not in the drivers directory -- and i don't know what Nero's new drivers would be...

i think i've heard that almost all slow boots are due to network snafusies?
Again the joys of GUI only OS's ... all i can report is that it takes the longest portion of that reboot time occurs when paused over the two o's...

Similar system works fine (different NIC and server vs AdvSrv) ... can swap cables and no change. There is a D-Link router connected to cable modem.
Copied identical tcp/ip properties pages in the local area connection section but no joy...
