Or perhaps another clue is that it takes a huge time (~5 min) to reboot? i think i've heard that almost all slow boots are due to network snafusies? Again the joys of GUI only OS's ... all i can report is that it takes the longest portion of that reboot time occurs when paused over the two o's...
