internet explorer could not open the search page
I have an easy solution to this problem. Your comments helped track this down. The problem is with IE. Open the Internet Properties dialog click on Connections-->Lan Settings... uncheck Automatically Detect Settings. After that IE was able to use the DNS to find the Web pages.- ProtocolGuy
