I know I could create these line types either manually in the .lin file or express tools but I am told there may be upwards of 60. That's a fair amount of work
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has CAD standards for linetypes when submitting to their office. They offer the standards for use with Microstation. Does anyone have a source for these standards for use with Autocad ? probably in the form of a .lin file.
Does anyone know how to create a message dialog box that opens automatically with the drawing ? The purpose of the message would be basic f.y.i of the drawing, etc. messages could be taylored for individual drawings as needed.
I stumbled on to the reason and fix sort of like stepping on a landmine. The reason: TOO MANY .CTB FILES. Apparently Properties reads through all the .ctb files each and every time it resets. I had two choices 1) reduce the numbers of .ctb files in the default location or 2) close the plot...
