Switchin to excel 2000 helps. It seems there is a bug in the conversion to excel 2002 or higher.
Is there a way to default to excel 2000 for all the reports.

I am recently facing a weird issue in impromptu (7.3). When i save the report in excel, the totals come in a seperate column (then the corresponding details). I have been using excel a lot but never seen this. I tried the alignment property but it doesnt help.

i am using version 7.2. Is there anyway to keep wrapping of the dimesnion line (powerplay web exlorer on upfront) always on. Is the any setting so that by default it is wrapped whenever you browse a cube on the upfront.

u can incoporate it by creating a new dimension in the cube...which u have to create the new dimension by inserting a calculated column....the calaculation should be month(date column)...then use this in ur report.....an example of this is given in step by step transformwner document....on pg...
