Hi, thanks for the responses! Sorry if i was a bit vague previously, i was just trying to find out what error 2001 actually means as there's nothing in the help file. I'll post part of the code below - at the start of this extract strSQL contains the table joins and nothing else...- mickafen

Hello, i hope somebody out there can help. I'm making a query based on user selections from three multiselect list boxes, one for Subject, one for Author, one for Publishing organisation.
