VSMON.EXE Consumes CPU After ZA Upgrade
Uninstalling Zone Alarm PRO 3.5.169 and install Zone Alarm 3.7 Lite!!!! This is ONE solution that WORKS!! There could be another one, haven't found one though. For some reason in the "PRO" version it makes the PC run at almost 100% CPU, in my case it's always when I have WinMX...- peter23

Vsmon has performed and illegal procedure
I wasn't getting shutdown issues, but I my PC was running at almost 100% CPU most of the time when I was connected to the Internet AND having WinMX running with Zone Alarm 3.5.169 as my firewall. When I installed Zone Alarm 3.7 LITE the problem went away. What I suggest you do to test your...- peter23
