Windows XP - no taskbar icon for VPN connection
Thanks Cyberspace, but I've tried all the obvious things. In Thursday's Guardian Ask Jack column, somebody else had a similar problem with the "traffic lights" (sic) not being displayed. I wonder if there's an issue with Windows XP?- nedsram

Windows XP - no taskbar icon for VPN connection
This started the other day. When I connect to VPN, it connects but no taskbar icon is displayed, so I have to log off to disconnect. However on logging back on there is now a taskbar icon, even though VPN is no longer connected. Right clicking on status causes something to be displayed for a...- nedsram
