    You can run r3 with XP but you will need to download some stuff before you run it. You will need an XP C-Dilla patch which you can get from Discreet's webpage. Once that is installed it should run.

    Yeah. I havehad Visual Studio.Net working on one for a couple of weeks. I have found that i am using my workstation more though especially when you are debugging code. It get's really fiddly!

    Looking at the picture i would say that your best bet would be to use NURBS. It would be easier to tweak that really smooth surface.
