Hi
Hi
We have purchased a couple of Wyse V10 dual dvi terminals so that our users can have dual monitors in a citrix environment. They connect to the XenApp 4.5 farm with a published desktop, the problem is that the citrix session displays the session as if the 2 monitors are just one big...
Hi, sorry, more stupid questions, I have been reading more about SCR and have upgraded the existing server to SP1 without a problem, this is where my lack of knowledge kicks in. On the target server what exchange server roles should i be installing. Do i just need to install the mailbox role on...
Hi
We have a single server running exchange 2007 and would like to look at our options with reference to redundancy. We have an additional server that we could install exchange 2007 server on at the same site and we were thinking about using SCR on this second server. Is this the best way to be...
Hi all
Please excuse the newbie q in advance. We are a small I.T. solution provider and have a few clients who have SBS2003. Most of the businesses have a requirement for remote users to access corporate info now, we give them access to email either via OWA or Outlook via the web but for access...
Hi
We have a hosted citrix solution at a data centre with 5 terminal servers and a x1250 as our firewall. At the moment we have the fireall locked down with an http proxy policy linked to a web blocker policy that protects the network well. We don't allow the downloading of any executables, zip...

I had exactly the same scenario and despite my best efforts to get it working anded up putting in a fe server to handle owa requests. In the absence of the fe server the users whose mailboxes had been moved to the second server couldnt access owa.

Hi
We have a mix of Wyse 1200LE's and S10's throughout the company. At the moment the users Citrix session gets its time from the Wyse terminal, how can I configure the system so that the users get their time from the citrix servers and not the wyse terms. We are using wnos.ini files for client...
I have resolved this problem now but in case it affects anyone else it was purely a case of deleting / recreating the exchange virtual directories in IIS on BE server2 as per MS KB 883380

Hi
I we have had 2 exchange 2003 servers for a while and have just introduced a FE exchange 2003 box to service OWA clients. Clients connect to OWA on FE via SSL, all works fine. If a user whose email a/c resides on the BE server1 logs in to OWA he can access OWA, send /receive / delete emails...
Hi Unclerico
That worked fine using the FB-DB as the authentication, AD wouldn't work, I kept getting a Authentication Failed: 'LDAP binding failed, credentials are not correct, please try again'
On another note, and I am happy to post a new request, I am having issues with site-to-site VPN's...
Hi
Our head office has a Watchguard x1250e running Fireware v9.0. We have web blocker running and an http proxy policy that prevents users from downloading exe's etc. I am fairly new to Watchguard but because of the http proxy rule (everyone's default gateway is the firewall) as an...
Hi Richard
Thanks for that, appreciate your reply. We are currently using ntbackup to tape, works fine, I am looking for a solution to 'complement' the existing solution. I don't want to carry out full ntbackups each night and then copy to the data centre the next day because I will be forever...
