    Here's how I solved the problem: I broke the movie into 2 pieces, each less than 2 GB. Exported each piece separately, did not append any blank frames, and it worked out nicely with a transition between the two parts.

    I have created a project that is 12.25 minutes long using my Sony Vaio 866. There is 23 GB of space left on the hard drive. When I try to export the movie to the drive it gets within 4 minutes of finishing before it bombs out with "Disk full error". Does anyone have any suggestions?
