    There a number of inexpensive, even free (like Bust-It), programs you can download, and which list all operations that are running AND give you the chance to turn and of them off, as you wish. Just be sure you know what you are doing. Good luck. :-) Art

    Prompt answer, but I remain uncomfortable. It's like saying, "so your leg is broken, you can still crawl so forget it." I do not need computer to operate at the level of an "Olympic Champ," but it ought run freely and smoothly, and not behave as if hobbled . :-(
