How can I speed up and improve my computer that has windows 98?
Have you checked AMD option? All of my systems, 3 so far have been of AMD I built. Am not complain about them. My latest one upgraded from AMD K3 400MHz to AMD Athron XP +1700. Of course I switched the mother board also. (to MSI K7T Turbo2 - ATX form factor) with the same amt of RAM you have...- gounistat

98/XP Dual Boot...Can't Get 98 and No Floppy
You would not have problem when you change CMOS to boot to either XP HD or 98 HD. This is the safest setting you can have. I think since you could dualboot your PC before certain time, that your 98 boot sector screwed up for some reason. (afraid of some virus???) It is best to reformat that HD...- gounistat
