XP hangs than releases every few seconds
Sound card is a SB Audigy with the newest drivers. IDE 1 has two different hard drives both UDMA mode 5. Not a raid setup just two hard drives. Master drive is NTFS, drive 2 is FAT 32 with some old files on it. IDE 2 has a DVD and a CDRW. the DVD (master) is UDMA mode 4. The CDRW is...- consultken

XP hangs than releases every few seconds
Every few seconds my system hangs up then releases. It is very noticeable when video is playing, during games, and you can experience this by testing the direct draw and direct 3d features with dxdiag. This did not occur under 98SE.
