    redirect arcmain to tape

    I am currently using arcmain for our backup and restore. Very user friendly indeed :) the output files always ends up in the root directory, is there any way I can redirect it to tape, or is this possible without the asf tool?

    I think things are very strightforward in all RDBMS. An execution would either be successful or a failure. If it doesn't return an error, it means that it written already! If you really wanna make sure, just issue a select statement to checks whether the record was really written :)
