Delphi incompatibility with Win NT ?
In D4 my Paradox database application runs OK under Win95. It also runs on another standalone machine under Win95. But on a networked machine under Win NT4 during the load it raises the Fatal Error 217 - "EControlC is raised when a user presses Ctrl+C to terminate a console...- MCInWG

Paradox Formatted Text Memo
When I try to use a Paradox Formatted Memo field in CRv7 it loses a varying (but substantial) number of characters from the beginning of the text. Is this a fatal flaw in CRv7 ? Have I any hope of displaying all the text ?- MCInWG

Saving as lower version
(carrying on from my previous ...) I jumped from Crystal reports v1 (as included in Borland's ObjectVision) to v7, so I don't have v6. As a v7 user can I download v6 from Seagate ? so I could update those v6 reports I have using v6.- MCInWG

Saving as lower version
Does v8 only save as v8 or v7, or can it also save as v6 ? I am using software that uses v6 reports; when I made cosmetic modifications to the reports and saved them from v7 they crashed. I'd be prepared to upgrade to v8 if it does save as v6, otherwise not.- MCInWG
