I just could not wait any longer on this problem, I uninstalled, and reinstalled Veritas.

Originally I also thought it was something simple.
The service “Backup Exec 8.x Job Engine” was already running, process name “bengine.exe” is also running. (most likely bengine is for this service)

“Run Now” Backup, or schedule jobs never run
If I schedule a backup job, or choose “Run Now”, the job never runs. It simple stays as a scheduled backup job.
