I have a form to show pictures. I designed it to it have two columns. When I execute the form as a form, I get my two columns. When I use it as a subform, I lose the two-column format. How can I get my two columns back in subform mode without making the main form 2 columns?
There is a crop, stretch and zoom option when inserting an image into an image frame. How do I fit the image into the frame keeping the orginal aspect ratio?
Thanks for your help. I made a stupid mistake. I was incrementing my variable "linecount" inside my "For linecount = 1 To 7". The problem had nothing to do with Line Input.
I downloaded a hex viewer. I am vaguely familiar with hex, so I don't know how to tell if there is a NUL. I don't know what I am looking for, but I didn't see anything that looked like a NUL. What am I looking for?
Suppose there is a NUL, is there some way to hadle it - either account for it...

I am using Line Input to read lines out of a file. On loop 1, the code is reading the first line and printing to another file correctly. On loop two, Line Input is not reading the second line. It doesn't print anything (visible) into the output file. This does not happens on every line. For...
I have a pline script that I am copying out of Excel into the command window of AutoCAD. I can't figure out how to terminate the command. I have the following:
pline
2,3
3,4
4,5
end
except "end" does not work. What should I put in the place of "end". I tried "enter", "cancel", "*cancel*"...
When I open a new Outlook message, in a window titled "Microsoft Internet Explorer" I get the message "Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly." I cannot find the security setting to make this message go...
I have a column for which I would like conditional formatting. The column contains the values "Actual", "Estimate - SW" or "Estimate - Calc" (in fact I have several more of the "Estimate - ..." values). I would like the formatting of the "Estimate - ..." values all to be yellow so I would like...
I have my work laptop with me now. It connects via the wireless network. With my home laptop (the one with the problems), I can connect through LAN.
I have the IP set to dynamically assign (as it has always been).
ipconfig /all gives the following:

I have a laptop set up to connect to a wireless network. The laptop connects to a router, then to a Verizon modem. I have had this network for working for over a year. Because of a recent problem with the modem, I messed with a lot of network settings on the laptop. Now the laptop no longer...
I just checked. Changing to static ip, the MAC address does not change, and i think I actually still have connectivity with the router (says I am connected). Must be a problem communicating with my ISP.
Could there be a firewall issue that prohibits me from seeing the desktop by simply...
linney,
Using the Network Setup Wizard was the original plan. Seemed simple enough. That is how i set up my home network in the first place. With my work computer, the My Network Places explorer window does not give me the option to run the Network Setup Wizard. I was able to find it...
I have the IP address automatically, and I have a router. The router and internet work just fine. I have no trouble getting in to my work network through VPN. STill can't find the desktop though. Neither \\machinename nor \\ipaddress find the desktop. Anything else I can try?
I really just want access to the printer. Sharing some files would be useful too. Let me give this a try tonight and let you know how I do.
By the way, what is the Network Setup Wizard really doing? Is it just assigning IP addresses and setting up a link in Network Places, or is there more...
