Thanks for the reply, but what language is that? Is there anything I can do in Java to get it to work. And why will not work the way I do it anyway - I'm placing unicode text into Access field that are supposed to be able to display unicode, why does Access find this difficult? A table's contents have disappeared!? Was it too big?
More info on the issue above. The table, after the inexplicable disaster of last night, now actually has 1037 records. 973 of them are from 7am this morning until now, which makes sense. But the first 64 records are actually from the birth of the table, 6 weeks ago. The really strange this is...- paulmckillop
