    Thanks obislavu but both the System.Windows.Forms.ResxResourceReader and System.Resources.ResourceReader both only appear to have access to the <Data> tags inside a resx file. Ideally we'd like to be able to reference the information stored within the <Resheader> tags within the file. Anyone......?

    Hi everyone. Does anyone know if it's possible to access the information stored in the resheader tags in a resx file? I can get to the data tags without any problems but I can't find a way to access the resheader parts which would be useful. Is it possible?

    Thanks for the help everyone have managed to repair the old install of sybase in the end. Just in case anyone ever needs to know a Sybase service will not respond if it is installed on a machine which has more than around 10 IP adresses adssigned to it.

    Thanks David I'll let you know how I get on. Does anyone else know of any other ways? I know if I was using sqlserver I sould do an attach database and use the live files, is there a sybase equivalant?
