I tried the booting from CD the other steps & still not working. Its still locking up when it appears that the driver is going to load. I have no clue what do do. I still cant find my CD.
No I only used FDISK. What I did was delete all the partitions using FDISK. I then started all over using FDISK. This time I only kept the C: drive. I then went ahead & formatted this drive & still nothing.
I have went ahead & formatted the HD using FDISK. I kept it easy & did not partition the HD. When I do the FDISK/STATUS, it shows C: 51407 Mb. However when I do a DIR C: it shows 117,XXX,XXX Mb. I tried using 3 different bootdisks that I have & none seem to work.
I am not in front of my computer at this time, but it was FAT32. After partitioning this and rebooting, I was able to see all the drives that I had created. Should I just go ahead & format using FDISK off the WIN98 boot disk that I have???????

I installed a new Maxtor 120Gb HD. Whenever I reboot it with the boot disk & request CD ROM SUPPORT, it starts off like it is loading the appropiate drivers, then it freezes.
