I have a cisco router, its a 2505. Everytime I configure it, I issue a write memory command from the config mode and when i reload, it forgets its configuration and asks me "would you to enter initial configuration" again..
Is there a battery i can replace? what usually causes...
I tried to save my config by issuing a Write Memory from the config mode and it says it's building configuration then [OK], but when I reload, I get the same menu driven configuration "would you like to initially configure this router y/n"
I'm guessing there is a battery inside I can...
I configure it from startup with the console. I don't use the serial0 or serial1. From my understanding, this unit is a hub + router, and has an internal hub port connecting the router to it. And i wire my computers directly into the router, as if it were a hub.
