I have tried setting the buffers to 300 with no effect. (properties of cmd prompt. When you say buffers = comment is this literal? eg config.nt buffers= comment?

I have tried using the Compatabilty wizard and changing the compatability in the pif to 98 & 95 but no change.
I have also changed the files from to 300 but still same ole same ole.
This is a really strange one, it looks like there a problem in Dos being recognised
