I forgot to mention on this thread that I resolved my problem. The Record selection of Crystal is now pushing-down the selection to the database server. The problem was that an "Add Command" has been done on the table when the whole table should have been used.
If you really want to...
Hi,
Do you know a way to do the following (I'm using CR9):
1- Have a report paramater z that is a date range.
2- Have an SQL query which takes 2 parameters x and y
3- Have formulas which takes z values and converts them to be used by x and y
4- Finally and most important: link the formulas in 3...
Hi,
I'm using the Performance Monitor with our software's own counters. All our counters are saved to a cvs file and then read by Crystal Reports.
The problem I have is that the time of the sample is saved in the cvs table as "(PDH-CSV 4.0) (_time_zone_name_here_)(240)" where...
The reason I want to put a parameter into the query is that when I use the SelectExpert, Crystal retrieves all the records from the tables and THEN filters the data. I'll have millions of records in my database so that something I can't handle, filtering must be made on the server-side...
Hi,
Thanks for your response

Is there a way to modify the...

When I do this, I get value 1 for every record in my first column.
I made a mistake when I said it was Microsoft Jet because when I make a mistake ODBC tells me it is a [Microsoft][ODBC Text Driver]. Unless Microsoft Jet is the...

Hi
I'm not sure what I'm trying is feasible but I'd like your input.
I have *.csv created dynamically which I access in Crystal Report9 through ODBC (Micrsoft Jet). Everything works fine but I found a problem for deployment, the column name of the first column in the csv file changes according...
