Hi, I did try google, unfortunately there were no definitive lists of the codes, there were some FSC references, mostly only 1 or 2 codes as part of a firmware upgrade. I am looking for LTO3 and LTO4 codes now. Regards Geny

I need to Zero disks so that they can be installed in any shelf, so as not to cause any issues with the label. Drives labelled on a higher version of Ontap are not working...

Sorry storage is my game not systems, have you tried right clicking on the SCSI card in Devices menu and update driver, I know thw Adaptec driver is not authorised but it works fine. Regards Andrew

Hi I had a similar prolem, load the adaptec driver, do not use the Microsoft driver as there is an issue with the automatic data transfer negotiation. If you use the Adaptec driver it will enable you to stream data.

Does anyone have a copy of drive fitness test for the IBM LTO?

I need to test ESCON and FCON 9840, 9940 drives. Does anyone know of a PC adapter that is available? Or a test procedure that is available to test these drives?
